SWALEC Stadium Secure New Sponsors

The SWALEC Stadium has added a further three new sponsors to its existing portfolio of clients.  The companies will join a range of existing sponsors that have already benefitted from brand association with the high profile events that have taken place at the stadium this year, including the tremendously successful Ashes Test Match.

Biffa, Castell Howell Foods and Regent Cleaning have all signed 3-year stand sponsorship agreements with the Club and all three will now benefit from the widespread brand exposure arising from the many events that are held at the stadium.

Having successfully hosted an Ashes Test Match, a cabinet meeting with Prime Minister Gordon Brown, the 2008 BBC Wales Sports Personality of the Year Awards, the Welsh Conservative Party Conference and most recently, the training venue for the new John Lewis store in Cardiff, the SWALEC Stadium is clearly a thriving business and provides the perfect opportunity for businesses looking to promote their brand.

Commenting on the new sponsorship deals, newly appointed Chief Executive, Alan Hamer said;

“We are delighted to be working with Biffa, Castell Howell and Regent Cleaning.  Over the last 3 years the SWALEC Stadium has provided the perfect platform for companies looking to generate brand exposure.    With an additional 19 days of International Cricket guaranteed at the Stadium over the next 7 years, we provide an exclusive opportunity to clients looking to increase their profile both locally and internationally.”

David Savory,  Director of Environment & External Affairs from Biffa added;

“The SWALEC Stadium provides a unique opportunity for sponsors to gain brand exposure because it attracts a wide range of events throughout the year.  Following the enormous success of the Ashes Test Match earlier this year and the extremely positive coverage surrounding the Stadium, the SWALEC Stadium is a very strong brand to be associated with.”

Kathryn Jones, Sales & Marketing Director from Castell Howell Foods said,

“Castell Howell Foods is extremely pleased to be working with the SWALEC Stadium.  The diverse nature of the audiences that the Stadium now attracts provides a great opportunity for us to promote our business to a new market.”

John Critchell from Regent Cleaning confirmed:

 “Regent work with a number of high profile venues throughout the UK and we are thrilled to have entered a partnership agreement with the SWALEC Stadium.  Now an established international sports venue and conferencing and hospitality business, the Stadium provides organisations that, like ours, are managing diverse customer bases with an equally broad and exciting range of audiences to market to. “
