Glamorgan Cricket Club opened the doors of its new home, the SWALEC Stadium, on Friday May 9th 2008 for their Friends Provident Trophy match against Gloucestershire.

Completed in less than eighteen months and costing a cool £9.5 million, the impressive new SWALEC Stadium now boasts a 16,000 strong capacity sporting arena and state of the art conferencing and banqueting facilities.
